PRISTINE VET Project Officially Launched with Successful Kick-off Meeting

The PRISTINE VET project has officially started with the successful implementation of the Kick-off Meeting, marking the beginning of a multi-country initiative focused on strengthening vocational education and training (VET) capacities in the field of green and sustainable energy technologies.

PRISTINE VET aims to enhance skills development, modernise VET curricula and bridge the gap between industry needs and training provision, with a particular focus on renewable energy, hydrogen technologies and sustainable industrial practices. The project will support VET institutions, trainers and learners through innovative training modules, digital learning tools and industry-driven capacity-building activities.

During the Kick-off Meeting, project partners discussed curriculum co-development, stakeholder engagement with industry and policy actors, pilot training actions and dissemination strategies to ensure long-term impact and replication across participating regions. The project will contribute to workforce upskilling in strategic green sectors and support the transition towards a climate-neutral economy.

Over the coming months, PRISTINE VET will initiate needs assessment activities and the development of modular training programmes, followed by pilot implementation and policy recommendations for scalable VET reforms.
